Overall High score Awards will be awarded to the overall high scoring routine in each of the Premier, Encore, and Elite Levels and in each of the Petite, Junior, Pre-teen, Teen, and Senior Age Divisions. These awards will be given in each of the General Categories of Solo, Duo/Trio, Small Group, Large Group, and Line.
Overall Production will be awarded to the highest scoring production at the Encore Level combining all age divisions.
Each of the overall high scoring routines will receive one studio plaque or trophy and individual corresponding ribbons/pins.
There must be a minimum of 3 acts in the age division and general category to automatically award an overall placement.
Divisional High Score Awards will be awarded to the highest scoring routine combining Petite|Junior|Pre-teen in the 12 & under & Teen|Senior in the 13 & over in each of the general categories of Solo, Duo/Trio, Small Group, Large Group, and Line. They must have a minimum of 10 acts in the general category to award.
Special awards chosen by the panel of Judges will be given. The award will be presented to the studio.

The ADCC (Association of Dance Competitions and Conventions) is a nonprofit association supporting excellence in the dance convention and competition industry. Elite Dance Cup is a proud member of the ADCC and delighted to participate in the Studio of Excellence Awards. To be eligible a studio must enter a minimum of 5 groups or lines. The average of your 5 highest scoring group routines from the Premier, Encore, and Elite Levels regardless of age will determine the winner. Winners will receive an ADCC Banner.

REGIONAL TITLE!
Elite Dance Cup’s Title Category is a completely separate category from the Solo Category. Dancers wishing to compete for the Elite Dance Cup Title must have one (1) solo entry registered in the Title Solo Category. Only one (1) Title Solo entry per dancer is allowed and will count towards a dancers maximum of three (3) total solo entries.
At each Regional Competition Mr. and Miss Petite Elite Dance Cup, Mr. and Miss Junior Elite Dance Cup, Mr. and Miss Pre-teen Elite Dance Cup, Mr. and Miss Teen Elite Dance Cup, and Mr. and Miss Senior Elite Dance Cup will be chosen by the judges based on each Title Solo entered into the Title Category of the competition. There must be a minimum of three (3) competitors in each Age Division of the Title Category to automatically award the Title. If less than three (3) enter, the Title will only be awarded if the soloist scores a High Gold or above. Each of the Title Winners will receive a plaque or trophy, and a Full Title Entry to the 2024 National Final.
NATIONAL TITLE!
Regional Title contestants receiving Elite Gold adjudication or higher will be eligible to enter the National Title Competition. Competitors entering the National Title Competition will be scored by a panel of judges based on the soloist performance in three different categories.
- 25% - Improv & Leap Competition - Scored by judges (information to follow national title registration)
- 25% - Audition Class (to be treated as though dancer would be attending a regular audition for a part or role)
- 50% - Solo Performance (this performance will be the first and only time judges will see dancers title solos)
Each of the Title Winners will receive a plaque or trophy, and a $100.00 Gift Certificate.
***Please note a Title Solo that does not qualify for the National Title Competition, may be moved to the Solo Category for Nationals.

The recipients of this award are invited to be part of the Elite Showcase of Stars Opening Number. These special invitations are given to dancer(s) that display a passion for performing on stage. They will receive an invitation envelope at regional events with information detailing the opportunities that will be offered.
Improv Competition
Elite Dance Cup will host an Improv Competition at each Regional event. The competition will be held in the Petite/Junior/Pre-teen (12 & Under) age category. The competition will take place prior to the awards presentation for the age category. Formatted much like an audition, the dancers are each assigned a number and perform their Improv for the judges in groups of approximately 3 to 8. Depending on the number of entries, following the preliminary, semi final and final rounds judges will select a winner. Music and genre are randomly chosen, each group will have 45 seconds to dance with a 10 second countdown. Individual dancers can sign-up at the Elite Boutique throughout the competition before the awards presentation of their age category for $30.00 per dancer. Winners will receive an award.
Turn & Leap Competition
Elite Dance Cup will host a Turn & Leap Competition at each regional event. The competition will be held in the Teen/Senior (13 & Over) age category. The competition will take place prior to the awards presentation for the age category. Formatted much like an audition, the dancers are each assigned a number and perform a turn and leap of the judges choice and then one of their favorites. Depending on the number of entries, following the preliminary, semi final and final rounds judges will select a winner. Individual dancers can sign-up at the Elite Boutique throughout the competition before the awards presentation of their age category for $30.00 per dancer.
Winners will receive an award.
Dancers we suggest you bring dance clothes that you would wear to an audition to participate in the Improv Competition (leotard, tights, dance shoes, bows, etc.)
The Face of Elite
Elite Dance Cup will have a Search for The Face of Elite. Any 2024 Season participants can register at the Elite Boutique on-site or online for $50.00 per dancer and submit 2 pictures 5x7 or larger. One picture must be in full costume and a full body shot. A short excerpt of why the participating dancer should be selected to represent Elite Dance Cup in 2025 will also be required to enter. One or two Finalist(s) (depending on entries received) will be selected from each Regional event to advance to the Final Round. The 2025 Face of Elite Finalists and Winner will be selected in May by The Face of Elite deciding Panel. Winner will be required to attend one of Elite Dance Cup’s 2024 National Finals for photo shoot. The Face of Elite will be featured in Elite Dance Cup’s 2025 advertising campaign.
